2013 End of The Year Picnic

Thanks to all who attended the end of the year picnic. We all had fun catching up and hearing about each other's  triathlon season successes and mishaps. Overall it was a big success. We had 60-70 Bluff Busters and their families in attendance. The BA Burrito and dessert buffet were delicious---we made up for any calories we lost during the training season. 

Our sponsors were especially generous with the raffle gifts and nearly everyone walked away with a prize. A big thanks to Don's Towing, Subway, Schilling Supply Company, Schmidty's and River Trails Cycles for donating hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards and swag. 

We also held a gear swap which we hope to repeat in the future. Many of us walked away with lightly used gear for free or a very low price. I know my new, used neoprene cycling booties will be handy this winter if I brave the cold for a ride (thanks, Amy Cooper!). 

A highlight of the night was the award ceremony in which 11 team members received recognition for their race performances throughout 2013. Congratulations to the award recipients!:
